Whether it’s joining you in your city, meeting somewhere between business and pleasure, or disappearing to a place neither of us has been before — I’ve always been very easy to convince when there’s a good reason to pack a suitcase.

Munich is home, but I’ve always had a weakness for leaving it. I love discovering new places, beautiful hotels, hidden restaurants, long lunches somewhere far away and those little moments that only happen when you step outside your everyday life.

A Few Places I’d Love to Get Lost In

I have a growing collection of destinations, beautiful hotels, restaurants I want to try, and experiences that feel far too tempting to remain saved in my camera roll.

Some places have been on my list for years, others were discovered almost by accident — but all of them have that certain something that makes me want to pack a suitcase and go.

Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc — Antibes

I recently had the most beautiful cocktail here, and ever since, I’ve been dreaming of coming back for a few days. There’s something incredibly timeless about this place — the Riviera glamour, the sea, the gardens and that effortless French elegance. The hotel completely inspired me with its charm, and I’d love to experience it beyond just an afternoon drink.

The Orient Express

There is something magical about travelling by train when the journey itself becomes the destination. The Orient Express feels like stepping into another era — beautifully dressed interiors, slow mornings, elegant dinners and landscapes passing by the window. A little old-world romance with a sense of adventure.

Cyprus — Amara

A few days of Mediterranean sunshine, beautiful design and long, slow afternoons by the sea. Amara has been on my radar for its understated luxury and the feeling of having everything you need for a perfect escape — without having to do very much at all.

South Korea

I’d love to explore South Korea through one of my favourite subjects: beauty. From innovative skincare and beauty rituals to tiny concept stores, wellness experiences and the energy of Seoul itself, I feel like there is an entire beauty universe waiting to be discovered.

California — San Diego

Endless beaches, golden sunsets and that unmistakable Californian feeling of freedom. I’d love to spend time between the ocean, beautiful neighbourhoods, good food and long coastal drives — ideally with nowhere to be.

Japan — Cherry Blossom Season

Japan during cherry blossom season feels almost unreal. I’d love to experience the contrast between centuries-old traditions and the incredibly modern rhythm of cities like Tokyo and Kyoto — with temples, gardens, tiny restaurants and cherry blossoms in between.

St. Barts

For island sunshine, barefoot days and that effortless Caribbean glamour. St. Barts feels like the kind of place where the days naturally revolve around swimming, long lunches, beautiful beaches and watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand.

The Maldives

For nothing more complicated than turquoise water, a beautiful villa and endless hours in the sea. I’d especially love to spend my days snorkelling, discovering colourful marine life and simply enjoying the feeling of being completely surrounded by ocean.

The Seychelles

Endless islands, dramatic coastlines and beaches that look almost too beautiful to be real. I’d love to explore the Seychelles at a slower pace — moving between islands, swimming in crystal-clear water and discovering those hidden corners that make you want to stay a little longer.

Cape Town

A destination that seems to have a little bit of everything: ocean, mountains, vineyards, incredible food and a city with so much character. I’d love to explore Cape Town from the coast to the winelands — preferably with plenty of time for long lunches and spontaneous stops along the way.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

Not my first cruise, but perhaps my next favourite way to travel. I love the idea of combining the feeling of being on a yacht with the freedom to wake up somewhere completely different every day — without sacrificing beautiful design, great food and those slow, luxurious moments at sea.
